Netflix is making improvements to the My List feature to make it easier to browse the shows and movies you’ve bookmarked. An Android first, you can filter your list by Movies, TV Shows, “Not Launched,” “Started,” and sort by options like when you added something to your list, release dates, and alphabetically, Netflix spokesperson Layal Brown said. The edge.
The new tools should be really useful. Depending on how much of a bookmark you are (welcome to the club!), the sorting options can be a really handy way to sift through the potentially many things you’ve added to the list. Brown says this will roll out first on Android from Monday and will come to iOS in “the next few weeks”.
You can see what the updated My List screen will look like in these two screenshots from Netflix:
Netflix is also adding a “Coming Soon” row to the home screen of the TV version of its app, which can be a useful tool for learning when new shows and movies you might like are coming up. You can also request a reminder when a specific show or movie is available. With some potentially great new stuff like The black mirror sixth season and the first part of The witcher third season on the way, there might be a lot of things you want to set the reminder bell for.
