NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Academy Securities, a registered broker-dealer, certified Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) and Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), today announced the addition of Joe Nunn as Managing Director, Fixed Income Sales.

Joe Nunn brings with him tremendous expertise in high yield markets, bank lending and distressed markets. He began his career at Salmon Brothers in fixed income sales, then held positions at institutions such as UBS, Cantor Fitzgerald and Pierpoint Capital. While specializing in high-yield, investment-grade sales over the years, Mr. Nunn has maintained relationships with leading financial institutions, mid-market banks, fund managers, insurance companies and hedge funds.
